Not even a runner up, but okay because of the excellent idea of putting these together. With better choices ( maybe these were all that were available - it has that look ) and larger illustrations ( why a postcard size on a full page ? ) it really could have been something terrific. Good color is difficult to come by in illustrations of the older two, and they seem like the same old tired platesalready used several years ago several times. The text is excellent in my opinion, interesting and full of information. The platesare a major disappointment with a few, mostly Twombly, illustrations.
